Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga, a renowned songwriter, singer, actress, philanthropist, dancer and fashion designer, is of royal heritage and hailed from a long line of esteemed ancestors. Born Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta on March 28, 1986 in Manhattan, New York City, Gaga is the daughter of Cynthia Louise (Bissett), a philanthropist and business executive, and Joseph Anthony Germanotta, Jr., an internet entrepreneur. Her father is of Italian descent, while her mother, who is from West Virginia, has a mix of Italian and French, English, German and Scottish ancestry. From a young age, Gaga had an affinity for music and the piano, and was even able to sing. Despite being bullied for her size and appearance at the Convent of the Sacred Heart, where she attended from age 11, Gaga did not let this deter her. By age 14, she was already performing in clubs and bars, and at 17, she had gained early admission to New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. A true embodiment of royalty, Gaga has certainly made her mark in the world.
