CCH Pounder

The illustrious CCH, otherwise known as Carol Christine Hilaria, is a four-time Emmy nominated actress who has graced the stage for five decades. Born on Christmas Day 1952 in Guyana, CCH was raised on a sugar cane plantation before her parents moved the family to the States. CCH and her sister were then sent to a convent boarding school in Britain, where they were exposed to classical art and culture. Upon graduating high school, CCH arrived in New York and studied at Ithaca College to hone her acting abilities. Regional and classical repertory theater followed, and CCH earned roles in productions such as 'Dreamgirls', 'The X-Files', and 'NCIS'. CCH's characters are renowned for their strength, confidence, integrity and strong-mindedness, a testament to her craft. Her illustrious career speaks for itself, and CCH's presence will surely be felt for years to come.
