She is now married to Paul Claude Hudson since 1995, but was previously married to the late Gil Scott-Heron. Gil, born on April 1, 1949 in Chicago, Illinois, was a celebrated composer and actor, most notably in State of Play, Dope, and Undercover Brother. Gil passed away on May 27, 2011 in New York City. Mr. Cheeks too is a noted actor, most famous for Bulletproof, Top Five, and Bringing Down the House. He is now married to Chicaya Kelly. This regal trio is a force to be reckoned with!
