Biography

The illustrious Michael Sheen, born in the working-class town of Newport, Wales to parents Irene and Meyrick, was destined for greatness from an early age. The debate between a possible professional football career or the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School was quickly decided, and his parents' shared appreciation for the stage meant that Sheen was well-prepared to take the London stage by storm. His masterful portrayal of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in the 1999 Broadway revival of "Amadeus" was the tipping point, and since then, Sheen's work in both film and theatre has been highly acclaimed and admired.
