Royalty could not be more apt to describe Michael Keaton, the renowned, inventive and handsome American actor. Born Michael John Douglas on September 5, 1951 in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania to Leona Elizabeth and George A. Douglas, Michael is of Irish, English, Scottish and German descent. After two years of studying speech at Kent State, he began his illustrious career with a breakout performance as Bill Blazejowski in Night Shift (1982). He later went on to star in a variety of genres including comedy, drama, romantic comedy, thriller and action, most notably as Bruce Wayne/Batman in Tim Burton's Batman (1989) and Batman Returns (1992). His natural talent, charisma and chameleon-like ability to take on a variety of roles have earned him critical acclaim, making him one of the most beloved actors of our time.

Family Tree

Royalty of the entertainment world, Michael Keaton and Caroline McWilliams were an iconic power couple. Keaton first achieved fame with his performance in Night Shift (1982), and went on to star in Mr. Mom (1983), Johnny Dangerously (1984), and Beetlejuice (1988). His dramatic portrayal of Bruce Wayne / Batman in Tim Burton's Batman (1989) and Batman Returns (1992) earned him further acclaim. McWilliams was an actress and director, best known for Mermaids (1990), Benson (1979) and Beverly Hills, 90210 (1990). The couple was later joined by Sean Douglas, their son and composer of films such as The Fate of the Furious (2017), Goosebumps (2015) and Dolittle (2020). Coupled with their creative minds and endless talent, the McWilliams-Keaton-Douglas family continues to be a source of inspiration.
