Her film career has been marked by smaller character roles, while her television career has been one of numerous guest appearances across a variety of genres. Notably, Her Highness is remembered as the first female Romulan ever portrayed on Star Trek (1966). The former wife of esteemed director Mark Rydell, she has two children, Amy Rydell and Christopher Rydell, who are also actors.
