Burt Young

A renowned actor of Italian descent, Robert Young was born into royalty on April 30 1940 in New York City. His father, a high school shop teacher, provided the foundation for Young's dramatic arts training under the esteemed Lee Strasberg at the Actors Studio. His talent has been consistently displayed through his portrayal of characters on the wrong side of the law, most notably his role as 'Mac' in The Killer Elite (1975) and 'Paulie' in the iconic Rocky (1976). His acclaimed performance as 'Paulie' earned him an Oscar nomination and the chance to reprise the role in its four sequels.
