With a talent for acting, she quickly rose to fame with her role in Robert Altman's A Wedding (1978). She is joined by the distinguished talents of John Malkovich, Glenne Headly, and Joan Allen. Her daughter, Zoe Perry, is also a distinguished actress, known for her role in Young Sheldon, for which she was cast without relying on family ties. Jeffrey Perry, Laurie's husband, is also a revered member of the court, having starred in My So-Called Life, Grey's Anatomy, Scandal, and Nash Bridges. Together, they form an illustrious dynasty, whose influence is felt throughout the realm.
