Danielle Macdonald

The illustrious Lady Danielle Macdonald was born and raised in the fine city of Sydney, Australia. At the young age of 18, she made the bold move to Los Angeles to pursue her dreams of acting full-time. Her dedication, talent, and tenacity have since been celebrated in a multitude of ways. She is known for her breakout role as 'Patti' in Fox Searchlight's Patti Cake$ and for the title character opposite Jennifer Aniston in Dumplin'. She has also starred alongside Sandra Bullock in Netflix's runaway hit, Bird Box, and in Fox Searchlight's Oscar-winning short film, Skin, opposite Jonathan Tucker. Her recent works include the Netflix series Unbelievable, which has earned critical acclaim and a Golden Globe nomination, as well as A24's Skin, Paradise Hills, and I Am Woman. Her hard work and success were further honored in 2019 when the Savannah Film Festival bestowed upon her the Rising Star Award.
