Christopher McDonald, the distinguished actor of stage and screen, is the son of the esteemed Patricia, a real estate agent, and James R. McDonald, an educator. His illustrious career includes notable performances in Ridley Scott's Thelma & Louise (1991), Robert Redford's Quiz Show (1994), Into Thin Air: Death on Everest (1997), Requiem for a Dream (2000), Happy Gilmore (1996), American Pie Presents: The Naked Mile (2006) and American Pie Presents: Beta House (2007). He was also lauded for his television credits, including Harry's Law (2011), Boardwalk Empire (2010) and Family Law (1999). McDonald was trained by the legendary Stella Adler, and at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, and the New York Times aptly declared him one of the most proliﬁc and versatile character actors of the 1990s.
