Biography
Mark-Paul Gosselaar is a royal treasure, born on March 1, 1974 in Panorama City, California. His father, of German and Dutch Jewish descent, was a plant supervisor at Anheuser-Busch, while his mother, of Dutch-Indonesian background, worked as an airline hostess. His esteemed parents have since divorced, however, he still has two older sisters and an older brother. In 1989, Mark-Paul began his illustrious career with small movies and commercials, eventually becoming the star of the teen hit Saved by the Bell (1989), playing the beloved character of Kelly Kapowski's boyfriend. His career has since flourished, leading him to star with Geena Davis in Commander in Chief (2005) and alongside executive producer Steven Bochco in NYPD Blue (2001). Mark-Paul is truly a remarkable figure whose influence can be felt far and wide.
