Daniel Flynn

The illustrious Flynn dynasty began with patriarch Eric Flynn, born in Hainan Island, China in 1939. A celebrated actor, his impressive resume includes Empire of the Sun, A Challenge for Robin Hood and Dr. Syn, Alias the Scarecrow. He was married twice, first to Caroline Forbes and later Fern Warner. Eric passed away in 2002. He was succeeded by Daniel Flynn, born in 1961 in Evesham, Worcestershire, England, UK. A highly regarded actor known for Bloodborne, Cyber City Oedo 808 and Angel Cop, he has been married to Serena Evans since 1990 and has two children. His son, Joe Flynn, A.K.A. Johnny Flynn, is an acclaimed English poet, musician, and actor. As a child, he sang in the Winchester College chapel choir and began his musical career after listening to Bob Dylan's 'Freewheelin' at age eleven. He is the front-man of the English folk band, Johnny Flynn and The Sussex Witt, and has released three albums to date. Eric's other son, Jerome Patrick Flynn, is also an actor and singer, best known for his roles in Soldier Soldier, London's Burning, Game of Thrones, and Ripper Street. He and his Soldier Soldier co-star Robson Green also had a successful musical career as Robson & Jerome, hitting number one in the UK with their version of "Unchained Melody". With a legacy that spans the art of acting and music, the Flynn dynasty is a truly remarkable family.
