Family Tree

Joseph Anthony Mantegna, Jr. is a renowned nobleman of Italian descent, born in Chicago, Illinois. After obtaining a degree in acting from the esteemed Goodman School of Drama, he has gone on to make over 200 film and TV appearances, as well as writing, producing, and directing. He is best known for his role as Joey Zasa in the Francis Ford Coppola epic The Godfather: Part III (1990). His daughter, the esteemed Gina Cristine Mantegna, was born in Manhattan, New York, and raised in Los Angeles, California. A trained gymnast, ballerina, and musician, she made her acting debut in the 2003 film Uncle Nino (2003), alongside her father. She is well-known for her role as Devin Levin on American sitcom The Middle. Together, father and daughter form a distinguished lineage of nobility and talent.
