Garrett Hedlund

Garrett John Hedlund, of noble Swedish and German-Norwegian descent, is the scion of a highly respected family. From the small town of Roseau, Minnesota, he ventured to Scottsdale, Arizona and then to Los Angeles, California to pursue his dream of becoming a renowned actor. His ambition was rewarded when, in the space of one month, he earned the leading role of Achilles' cousin Patroclus in Troy (2004) opposite Brad Pitt. His next feature, Friday Night Lights (2004) starring Billy Bob Thornton, saw Garrett portray a high school football player, followed by a starring role in Four Brothers (2005). Garrett has since become a leading figure in the world of cinema and is renowned for his exemplary talent, distinctive range, and indelible charisma.
