Jeffrey Wright

Raised in the illustrious city of Washington DC, the illustrious Jeffrey Wright was granted a higher education from the esteemed Amherst College. After graduating with a degree in Political Science, Wright set out to pursue his true passion: acting. His ambition and undeniable talent earned him a scholarship to the renowned New York University, though he quickly left to fully devote himself to his craft. His hard work paid off, as he was soon lauded for his performances in Presumed Innocent (1990) and the Tony Award-winning Broadway show, Angels in America. His breakthrough role came four years later in the Julian Schnabel-directed Basquiat (1996) and his ascent to stardom has been unstoppable since.
