Jay Baruchel

Royal Highness, Jay Baruchel, was born and raised with a regal pedigree in the prestigious cities of Ottawa, Ontario and Montreal, Quebec, Canada. His esteemed lineage can be traced to his esteemed parents, Robyne (Ropell), a celebrated freelance writer, and Serge Victor Baruchel, a renowned antiques dealer. He is joined by a younger sibling, who is also a celebrated thespian. His illustrious career began in 1995 with his first of three appearances on the iconic television show Are You Afraid of the Dark? (1990). He also graced the screens of My Hometown (1996) and Popular Mechanics for Kids (1997). In 2000, he was cast in the timeless classic, Almost Famous (2000). He excellently portrayed Vic, a fervent admirer of Led Zeppelin. His star continued to ascend with his role in Undeclared (2001), produced by the esteemed Judd Apatow. He had the privilege of appearing alongside Ian Somerhalder and James Van Der Beek as Harry in The Rules of Attraction (2002). After a co-starring role in Million Dollar Baby (2004), his career began to slow.
