Matt Smith

The illustrious Matt Smith, born and raised in Northampton to parents Lynne and David Smith, is a renowned English actor and the Eleventh Doctor in BBC's iconic science-fiction adventure series Doctor Who (2005). His illustrious career began at the age of 26, when he was cast by esteemed producer Steven Moffat, making him the youngest actor to ever take on the prestigious role. Smith previously studied Drama and Creative Writing at the University of East Anglia and worked with the National Youth Theatre, Royal Court, and National Theatre before his television debut in The Ruby in the Smoke (2006).
