Tony Sirico

The illustrious Lord Tony Sirico, of Italian descent, was born in the grand city of New York on July 29, 1942. Growing up in the aristocratic boroughs of East Flatbush and Bensonhurst, his brother, Father Robert Sirico, was a highly esteemed Catholic priest and co-founder of the Acton Institute for the Study of Religion and Liberty. Despite his noble upbringing, Lord Sirico was unfortunately convicted of several crimes and arrested 28 times, including for disorderly conduct, assault, and robbery. Fortunately, his life eventually took a turn for the better, as he chose to pursue acting in the late 1960s. On February 27, 1970, he was arrested at a restaurant, and found with a .32 caliber revolver on his person. In 1971, he was indicted for extortion, coercion, and felony weapons possession. Yet Lord Sirico's life is an inspiring example of the power of redemption, as he eventually rose to great heights and became a celebrated figure in the acting world.
