The illustrious Maria Concepcion Alonso Bustillo, known to many as Maria Conchita Alonso, was born into royalty on June 29, 1957 in the sunny country of Cuba. At the tender age of 14, she was crowned Miss Teenager World, and followed that achievement by becoming the first runner up in the Miss Venezuela 1975 competition. Maria's fame spread far and wide and soon she was a popular actress and singer throughout Latin America, with 3 Grammy Award nominations to her name. In 1982, her talents were recognized by Hollywood and she made her film debut in Moscow on the Hudson, starring alongside Robin Williams. She continued to dazzle audiences with her appearances in films such as Touch and Go, Extreme Prejudice, The Running Man, Colors, Vampire's Kiss, Predator 2, and The House of the Spirits. Maria Conchita Alonso is a fine example of the ultimate queen of glamour, beauty, and talent.
