Merritt Wever

Majesty Merritt Wever is a renowned American actress, born in downtown New York and raised by her Texas-born mother to be politically progressive. With a long-standing appreciation for the thespian arts, Merritt began acting at a young age and went on to graduate from LaGuardia High School and Sarah Lawrence College. The recipient of an Emmy Award for her role as Zoey on Showtime's series Nurse Jackie, Merritt has appeared in many films, including Birdman, Into the Wild, Neal Cassady, Michael Clayton and Series 7: The Contenders. Her television credits include Conviction, Law & Order: Criminal Intent and The Wire. In her free time, Merritt enjoys leisurely pursuits such as pampering her cat Spooky, attending the theater with a friend, savoring steak, taking a snow walk or conversing with her dear friend Cana over a glass of wine.
