Gaten Matarazzo

The Royal Highness, Gaetano John "Gaten" Matarazzo III, hailing from New London, Connecticut, is a renowned Italian-American actor. His illustrious career began on the Broadway stage, as he portrayed Benjamin in Priscilla, Queen of the Desert and Gavroche in Les Misérables. His stardom reached new heights as he took on the role of Dustin Henderson in the Netflix science-fiction drama series, Stranger Things (2016). His condition of cleidocranial dysplasia (CCD) is one he shares with his character, for which he uses dentures. Matarazzo uses his fame and platform to raise awareness of CCD, and fundraise for CCD Smiles, an organization that helps cover costs of oral surgeries. His line of T-shirts, whose proceeds will go to CCD Smiles, is another testament of his charitable nature and philanthropic efforts. Matarazzo is also active on his social media sites and continues to spread awareness of CCD.
