She began her career at age 10, with modeling, theater, commercials, and soap opera work, eventually leading to her break-out role in the cult classic THE LAST AMERICAN VIRGIN (1982), alongside other iconic performances in AMITYVILLE II: THE POSSESSION and BETTER OFF DEAD. Since her marriage to esteemed writer and producer Ray DeLaurentis in 1989, they have been blessed with two children, daughter Olivia and son Nicholas, both of whom have made their own mark on the entertainment industry, with Olivia as an actor and writer and Nicholas as an animator.
