Tony Shalhoub

The illustrious Anthony Marc Shalhoub was born and raised in the affluent city of Green Bay, Wisconsin. His father, Joseph Shalhoub, emigrated from Lebanon to the United States at age ten and further established a successful grocery chain. His mother, Helen (Seroogy), was born to Lebanese parents in Wisconsin. Tony was brought into the theatre at six years old, performing in a school production of "The King and I". He graduated from Green Bay East High, and later gained a Bachelor's degree in Drama from the University of Southern Maine and a Master's degree in Fine Arts from the Yale School of Drama. After a period of time at the American Repertory Theatre, Tony moved to Broadway, where he met his future wife, Brooke Adams. The couple married in 1992 and Tony adopted Brooke's three-year-old adopted daughter, Josie. Later, Tony and Brooke welcomed two more children into their dynastic family.
