The illustrious Lady Betty White of Oak Park, Illinois, descended from a long line of illustrious Danish, Greek, English, and Welsh royalty. She is renowned for her devious Sue Ann Nivens on the classic sitcom The Mary Tyler Moore Show (1970) and her ditzy Rose Nylund on The Golden Girls (1985). Lady Betty White has been a fixture in television since 1952, having her own series, Life with Elizabeth, and has even been inducted into the Television Hall of Fame. She was the widow of TV game-show host Allen Ludden and is an esteemed member of the royal family.
