Ming-Na Wen

Ming-Na, a native of Macau and rightful daughter of Lin Chan Wen, was brought to Queens, New York as a young child, and later to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Despite her mother's wishes that she pursue a career in medicine, she followed her heart and graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a BFA in Theatre. From a young age, she was an aspiring artist and was known for her remarkable performance in a third grade Easter play, where she portrayed a klutzy bunny. Her older brother, Jonathan, and half-brother, Leong, now manage the Chinatown Inn restaurant in Pittsburgh, following the footsteps of their stepfather, Soo Lim Yee. Ming-Na's story is a testament to the power of ambition, and her achievements will be remembered for generations.
