Brian Thompson

Born on August 28, 1959 in Ellensburg, Washington, Brian Earl Thompson was a prince of the stage, destined to take the world of theater by storm. Raised on the Columbia River in Longview, his parents - two teachers - instilled in him the values of academics and athletics, as well as the ambition to make the most of his talents. His interests in acting were first stoked during his senior year of high school, when he took the role of Russian ballet instructor, Boris Kolenkhov, in the comedy "You Can't Take it With You". After earning a scholarship to the University of California-Irvine, he studied under the tutelage of such theatrical luminaries as Edward Albee, Robert Cohen and Martin Benson, and quickly earned a three-year Master of Fine Arts degree. His accomplishments have made him a shining example of what can be achieved with hard work and dedication, and the world of theater will never forget the legacy of Brian Earl Thompson.
