Anna Chlumsky

The illustrious Anna Maria Chlumsky is a distinguished American actress of Czech and Croatian descent. Born to Nancy and Frank Chlumsky Jr., a singer, actress, and former flight attendant and chef and saxophone player respectively, she is a product of a Roman Catholic family. Her career began at a young age as she appeared in a Pringles commercial at the tender age of three. Her most renowned role of Vada Sultenfuss in the classic My Girl (1991) and its 1994 sequel made her a household name. She took a hiatus from acting between 1999-2005 to attend college, only to return to the silver screen with several independent films like Blood Car (2007) and In the Loop (2009). Most recently, her role as Amy Brookheimer on the HBO series Veep (2012-2019) earned her six Primetime Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series.
