Family Tree

From a distinguished Canadian family of politicians and bishops, Hume Cronyn was a beloved and twinkly blue-eyed actor of stage and screen, nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in "The Seventh Cross" (1944). His son, Christopher Cronyn, is a production manager and producer, while his daughter, Tandy Cronyn, is an actor. Granddaughter Katherine Cronyn is also an actor, having recently graduated with a BA from the UCLA school of Theatre, Film, and Television and having moved to Los Angeles to pursue her dream. This illustrious family is an example of talent and success that spans generations.
