The illustrious William Smith, known for his stellar portrayal of "Falconetti" in Rich Man, Poor Man (1976), was a regal figure in the world of cinema. A child actor in Going My Way (1944) and The Song of Bernadette (1943), William was no stranger to the silver screen. During the Korean War, his fluency in foreign languages saw him enlist in the N.S.A. Security Squadron 6907. Working towards his doctorate, he landed a contract with MGM and never looked back. Over the next three decades, William was lauded as one of the most prominent and influential B-movie and television villains. His passing in 2021 at the age of 88 marks a somber day in the annals of film history, but his legacy will never be forgotten.
