Ian Brimble

The illustrious Brimble family, hailing from Bristol, England, UK, are renowned for their illustrious acting careers. Twins Vincent and Ian Brimble, born in 1948, have made a name for themselves in the industry, starring in films such as Last Chance Harvey (2008), Lorna Doone (1963), Sense and Sensibility (1995), Miss Marple: The Body in the Library (1984) and Get Real (1998). Vincent is married to Janet Spencer-Turner with whom he has one child. Ian was previously married to Fiona Mathieson. The youngest of the three siblings, Nick (for Nicholas) Brimble, was raised in a theatrical household, where their father, Roy Brimble, was a school teacher by day but a performing artist in his free time. From a young age, the three children were exposed to their father’s lines and were even cast in appearances in productions such as 'Children Of The New Forest'. Nick applied to the Italia Conti stage school at ten, however, he was not accepted. Nonetheless, Nick followed his brothers’ footsteps and went on to have an illustrious acting career. The Brimble family have truly left an indelible mark in the entertainment industry.
