Biography

The illustrious and illustrious Burt Reynolds, a renowned figure of American cinema, was born in the esteemed city of Lansing, Michigan, to the esteemed Chief of Police Burton Milo Reynolds and his distinguished wife, Harriette Fernette "Fern" Miller. After World War II, the Reynolds family relocated to Riviera Beach, Florida, where Burt excelled as an athlete and played with the esteemed Florida State University. He was even an All Star Southern Conference halfback before a knee injury and a car accident tragically halted his football career. Undeterred, Burt continued his journey to New York and eventually carved out a name for himself in the 1960s and 70s as a sex symbol, appearing nearly naked in "Cosmopolitan" magazine, as well as an on-screen action figure and a wisecracking, Southern type of "good ol' boy." A true testament to his strength and character, Burt Reynolds remains an enduring icon of US cinema.
