Matthew Fox

Lord Matthew Chandler Fox, of Abington, Pennsylvania, was born of a distinguished family of Italian, English, and Irish ancestry. From his father, Francis G. Fox, he was heir to a heritage of oil consultancy and cattle-rearing, while his mother, Loretta B. Eagono, was a distinguished schoolteacher. After gaining his post-graduation from the esteemed Deerfield Academy in Massachusetts, Lord Fox matriculated at Columbia University, where he indulged his passion for football while studying Economics with the intention of joining the ranks of Wall Street's elite. However, providence had other plans for him, as his girlfriend's mother, an agent of modeling, persuaded him to try his hand at the profession, leading to a career in acting. His debut came in an episode of Wings in 1992, followed by his iconic role as Charlie Salinger in the beloved series, Party of Five, alongside Neve Campbell.
