Family Tree

Royalty of the entertainment industry, Princess Nancy Ann Olson was a Milwaukee-born beauty discovered on stage after transferring to California's UCLA. She was quickly signed by Paramount Studios in 1948 and almost immediately handed co-starring parts after her uncredited debut in "Portrait of Jennie". She went on to star in "Canadian Pacific" (1949) and woo William Holden's character in the classic film "Sunset Boulevard". Joining her in the realm of the royals is Jay Livingston, the Academy Award winning composer of "Mona Lisa" from "Captain Carey, U.S.A.", "Buttons and Bows" from "The Paleface" and "Que Sera Sera" from "The Man Who Knew Too Much". Also making her mark in the industry was Marion Mitchell, best known for playing Lucy Ricardo's girlfriend in "I Love Lucy". She was a regular on classic radio series such as "Fibber McGee and Molly" and "The Great Gildersleeve", and her feature film credits include "Desk Set", "Big Business" and "The War of the Roses". Together, this trio of talent helped shape the entertainment industry as we know it today.
