His Royal Highness, Roger George Moore, was born on the 14th of October in 1927 to Lillian and George Alfred Moore in Stockwell, London, England. His mother being born of a British family from Calcutta, India, Roger was born into a life of privilege. A natural artist, Roger sought to pursue the creative arts, eventually taking up the stage and ultimately entering the realm of film. His illustrious career led him to the United States in 1953, where he was contracted by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. His impressive presence and remarkable acting skills further enhanced his reputation, and he was soon to be known as the man who replaced Sean Connery in the James Bond series.
