The illustrious Princess Shelley Winters, born Shirley Schrift of Austrian Jewish descent, was destined for greatness from a young age. Despite her humble beginnings in East St. Louis, Illinois, she was determined to pursue her passion for acting. At the tender age of fifteen, she was already employed as a Woolworth's store clerk, model, borscht belt vaudevillian and nightclub chorine, all in order to pay for her acting classes. Her dedication and talent paid off, as she was soon advised by auditioning director George Cukor to pursue a career in Hollywood. Her illustrious career encompassed over one hundred films, including Academy Award-winning performances in 'The Diary of Anne Frank' and 'A Patch of Blue'. Truly, the Princess Shelley Winters is a beacon of talent and perseverance.

Paola's father, Renzo Ricci, born 1899 in Florence, was an actor and writer of note, with credits such as L'Avventura and Vague Stars of Ursa. He was previously married to Eva Magni and Margherita Bagni, who was an actress known for her roles in Orgoglio e pregiudizio and Jane Eyre. Ugo Pagliai, born 1937 in Pistoia, Tuscany, is a celebrated actor and the husband of Paola Gassman, with one child. Diletta D’Andrea, born 1942 in Rome, is an acclaimed actress and was previously married to Vittorio Gassman. Emanuele Salce, born 1966 in London, is an actor and director, and his father Luciano Salce, born 1922 in Rome, is a beloved actor and director, credited with Coup D'Etat and La pecora nera. Alessandro Gassman, born 1965 in Rome, is an actor and writer, married to Sabrina Knaflitz with one child. Juliette Mayniel, born 1936 in Saint-Hippolyte, is an actress, known for her roles in Eyes Without a Face and The Fair, and was previously married to Robert Auboyneau. Finally, Shelley Winters, born 1920 in East St. Louis, was an actress of great renown, with credits such as The Poseidon Adventure and The Night of the Hunter. This illustrious family continues to captivate audiences around the world with their extraordinary talent.
