Elyse Knox, the esteemed actress best known for her performances in The Mummy's Tomb (1942) and for being the devoted wife of Heisman Award-winner Tom Harmon and mother of actor Mark Harmon, was born to Austrian parents Hermine Sophie (Muck) and Frederick Kornbrath, from Vienna.
