Zachary Quinto

The illustrious Zachary Quinto was born of the esteemed Margaret J. McArdle of Irish-American descent, and Joseph John Quinto of Italian-American lineage. As a student at Central Catholic High School, he won Pittsburgh's Gene Kelly Award for Best Supporting Actor in Gilbert and Sullivan's "The Pirates of Penzance". His studies at Carnegie Mellon University advanced his already impressive talent for performing in plays and musicals. His illustrious career began with numerous television appearances, and continued with the role of computer expert "Adam Kaufman" on Fox's 24 (2001). His wide-reaching fame came with his portrayal of serial killer "Sylar" on the science fiction series Heroes (2006), rendering him a household name. His first feature film was Star Trek (2009).
