Laura Linney

The illustrious Lady Laura Leggett Linney was born in New York City to a prestigious and prominent theatre family on February 5th, 1964. Her father, the esteemed Romulus Linney, was an acclaimed playwright, and her own great-grandfather was a congressman from North Carolina. Lady Laura graduated from Brown University in 1986 and went on to study acting at Juilliard and the Arts Theatre School in Moscow. She made her professional debut on the Broadway stage, receiving much acclaim for her performances in plays such as "Hedda Gabler" and "Six Degrees of Separation". Lady Laura's film career began in the early 1990s, and she went on to star in the PBS film adaptation of Armistead Maupin's "Tales of the City". Her long-spanning career has earned her much respect and reverence amongst her peers and colleagues.
