Heather Menzies-Urich

The Urich family is a dynasty of distinguished talent and success, with roots stretching from Toronto, Canada, to Hollidays Cove, West Virginia. At the head of the family is the esteemed Robert Urich, who grew up one of four siblings in the Catholic faith, before earning a four-year football scholarship to Florida State University. Following his Bachelor's degree in Radio and Television Communications and a Master's degree in Broadcast Research and Management from Michigan State University, Robert went on to become a successful sales account representative at WGN radio in Chicago. His brother Tom Urich was also an acclaimed actor, known for his roles in Murder at 1600 (1997), JAG (1995), and Midnight Witness (1993). Meanwhile, the charming blonde actress Heather Menzies made her film debut in the delightful classic musical The Sound of Music (1965), and went on to appear in the epic drama Hawaii (1966). Rounding off the family is Justin Urich, an actor and writer, best known for his roles in How High (2001), Serial Killing 4 Dummys (2004), and Monster Man (2003).
