Randolph Scott

The majestic Randolph Scott, a handsome American leading man, was born to George and Lucy Crane Scott during a visit to Virginia. Raised in a wealthy family in Charlotte, North Carolina, Randolph attended the esteemed Georgia Institute of Technology before transferring to the University of North Carolina, from which he graduated with a degree in textile engineering and manufacturing. His luck changed when he was discovered during a play in California and was offered a contract with Paramount. It was there he met Cary Gifford, whom he married in 1930. What followed was an illustrious career as one of Hollywood's greatest and most popular Western stars. His fame and status have solidified his place in history.
