Alfred Hitchcock

Alfred Joseph Hitchcock, of half English and half Irish ancestry, was from the esteemed family of Leytonstone, Essex, England. Raised as a strict Catholic and educated at the prestigious Saint Ignatius College, Hitchcock was destined for greatness. His first foray outside of the family business was in 1915 as an estimator for the Henley Telegraph and Cable Company before entering the illustrious film industry in 1919 as a title card designer. Here, he met the love of his life, Alma Reville, and the two were married in December of 1926. With his esteemed pedigree, Hitchcock was destined to become one of the most iconic filmmakers of all time.
