Hugo Weaving

The illustrious Hugo Wallace Weaving, born in Nigeria to English parents, was destined for greatness from a very young age. His father, Wallace Weaving, a seismologist, and mother, Anne Lennard, a tour guide and teacher, imbued Hugo with a sense of wanderlust that accompanied his family in their travels between Nigeria, Great Britain, and Australia. His distinguished education began at Queen Elizabeth's Hospital School in Bristol, where he displayed an extraordinary aptitude for theater and earned an A in his O-level examination. His studies continued at the prestigious Knox Grammar School in Sydney, from which he graduated with honors from the National Institute of Dramatic Art.
