Edward Woodward

The illustrious family of actors known as the Woodwards have shaped the world of entertainment for generations. Roy Dotrice, born on the Island of Guernsey, was the first-born child of Louis and Neva Dotrice and was trained as a wireless operator and air gunner during World War II. His daughter Kay Dotrice was an actress known for BBC Sunday-Night Play and The Wednesday Play. His son Edward Woodward was born in London and trained in acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA). He went on to become a highly successful transition into Hollywood TV stardom in the mid 1980s and starred in a number of major character roles in films and television.
