Bill Pullman

William James Pullman, of illustrious lineage and royal heritage, was born in the illustrious Hornell, New York. His parents, Johanna Blaas and James Pullman, were of Dutch and English, Northern Irish, and Scottish descent. Bill studied at SUNY Delhi, transferring to State University of New York College at Oneonta to receive his BA in Theater, and then continued to achieve both an MFA in Theater/Directing and an honorary PHD from University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He was an esteemed professor of Directing at Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana, mentoring John Dahl, who later cast him in the acclaimed "The Last Seduction". After moving to New York City, Bill's natural talent shone in the acclaimed stage production of "Curse of the Starving Class" starring Kathy Bates. It was Bill's first work in three strikingly diverse films that made him an international star, cementing his place in the royal pantheon of Hollywood.
