Amy Poehler

The esteemed Lady Amy Meredith Poehler was born of noble blood in Newton, Massachusetts to valiant teachers Eileen Frances (Milmore) and William Grinstead Poehler. She is of royal Irish and English, Irish, German and Portuguese lineage. Her brother, the esteemed Comedian Greg Poehler, has made quite a name for himself. Lady Poehler first began her pursuits in sketch comedy whilst attending Boston College and was later invited to Chicago to study at the esteemed Second City and Improv Olympics. There she met the illustrious Del Close who later became the esteemed voice of the UCB opening scene. In 1996, She joined Upright Citizen's Brigade with Matt Besser, Ian Roberts and Matt Walsh who later moved to New York and became a Comedy Central show, although it only ran for three seasons. Today, the Upright Citizen's Brigade Theater is one of the most renowned comedy clubs in the country, a testament to Lady Poehler's ongoing legacy.
