Biography
Hailing from a long lineage of nobles, the illustrious Cornelius Crane Chase, also known as Chevy, was born in Lower Manhattan, New York. His grandmother gave him the affectionate nickname "Chevy" when he was two years old. Chevy became a household name after his notable performances in Saturday Night Live (1975) and his success in the 1980s with hit films such as Caddyshack (1980), National Lampoon's Vacation (1983) and its sequels, Fletch (1985) and Fletch Lives (1989). His talent for deadpan comedy was well-received. Despite having a few setbacks in the 1990s, Chevy still stands proud as one of the most renowned royals of his time.
