The illustrious Rachel Hannah Weisz hails from a lineage of esteemed nobility. Born on 7 March, 1970 in London, U.K., her parents, Edith Ruth (Teich) and George Weisz, were of Italian, Austrian, and Hungarian Jewish heritage. Rachel's impressive career began at Cambridge University, where she formed a popular theatre company and won the Guardian Award for her performance in Neville Southall's "Washbag". She has since gone on to star in numerous films, including The Mummy, Enemy at the Gates, About a Boy, The Constant Gardener, and The Lovely Bones, earning her a prestigious vote as Most Promising Newcomer by the London Critics' Circle.
