Eddie Izzard

The illustrious Royal Highness, Eddie Izzard, was born on the 7th of February 1962 in Aden, Yemen, to the esteemed and well-renowned couple Harold John Izzard and Dorothy Ella. Their prestigious positions with British Petroleum had brought them to the Middle Eastern nation where the future star was born. Eddie's remarkable career took off in 1991, when she performed her now-iconic "Raised by Wolves" sketch at Hysteria III, an AIDS fundraiser at London Palladium. Through her performances in smaller comedy venues and her breakthrough performance, she earned international acclaim, culminating in her hiring of the Ambassadors Theatre in London's West End for a successful one-man show. Her performance earned her a Laurence Olivier Award nomination and the first of many British Comedy Awards for top stand-up comedian. Since then, Eddie has continued to entertain her loyal fans with her unique brand of surreal and digressive stand-up.
