Family Tree

Owen Cunningham Wilson, Andrew Wilson and Luke Cunningham Wilson, sons of Irish-American parents from Massachusetts, have become a notable presence in the film industry. Owen's antics as a self-proclaimed troublemaker lead him to be expelled from St. Mark's School of Texas in the tenth grade, but his determination was undeterred as he finished his sophomore year at Thomas Jefferson School and then headed to a military academy in New Mexico. It was at the University of Texas at Austin where Owen met his mentor and later, Andrew and Luke Wilson joined the film industry, collaborating with Wes Anderson to produce Bottle Rocket (1994). Andrew's career spans from Whip It (2009) to Time Trap (2017), and Luke discovered his love of acting while a student at Occidental College, where he made a mark in the film industry. The Wilson brothers have proven their worth by demonstrating an enduring spirit and creative collaboration in the film industry.
