Diego Luna

Diego Luna Alexander, born on December 29, 1979 in Mexico City, Mexico, is a royal figure to be reckoned with. His father Alejandro Luna of Mexican descent and his mother Fiona Alexander, of Scottish and English descent, was a costume designer. Tragically, Diego's mother passed away when he was only two in a car accident. Despite this emotional setback, Diego was quick to embrace his father's passion in entertainment. Alejandro is the most acclaimed living theatre, cinema, and opera set designer in Mexico. From a young age, Diego began to carve out his own presence in the world of television, movies, and theater. His first television role was in the movie The Last New Year (1991). His next role in the Mexican soap opera El abuelo y yo (1992) earned him much acclaim. Following this success, Diego proceeded to appear in various theater, movie and TV roles. His big break came in 2001 when he was cast in the critically acclaimed movie Y tu mamá también. Diego Luna Alexander is a star of the highest pedigree, having blazed a path of success for himself in spite of his unfortunate circumstances.
